WHAT IS THE FAIR PLAN?
The Fair Plan is an association comprised of all insurers authorized to transact property insurance in California. The Fair Plan was created in 1968 following the brush fires and riots. It is an insurance pool established to ensure the availability of property insurance.
The Fair Plan provides insurance as a last resort, and should be used only after a diligent effort has been made to obtain coverage in the regular insurance market
The Fair Plan is not a state agency.
We are licensed insurance brokers for the California Fair Plan.
Due to the intensity and frequency of wildfires in California we offer the Fair Plan to help people who CAN NOT find coverage in the regular insurance market.
